Ever since I set up bluetooth in my home for an occasional Activesync and light web browsing, I was continually getting frustrated with the very fragile connections and how a 250kb file could knock my activesync connection into oblivion.
Well, after reading a post by Andy Sjostrom
over at PocketPC Thoughts about the application Pocket Controller Professional improving WIFI connection stability, I decided to give the trial version a shot. He indicated one of the side benefits of the software was that Activesync connections remain active and don´t quit. Even though Bluetooth isn´t WiFi, I thought it just might work.
Well, I installed it and found that aside from the ability to control my Pocket PC from my desktop, the Activesync connection was indeed more stable! I not only synced my Tasks, calendar and project folder without Activesync failing 5 times. I also threw a 11MB MP3 file into my Pocket PC documents folder for syncing. As unexpected as it was, the entire file synced without error nor any indication that it would poop out on me! So if you are having trouble with Activesync remaining connected, I suggest you grab the trial of Pocket Controller Professional to see if that helps matters.
