New Universal "Total" Remote Control

<img src = "http://www.griffinmobile.com/images/gmobile_05.gif">

Griffin Mobile is announcing they have a new All-in-one remote controller that is supposed to be 3 times more powerful than traditional remotes. Checking out their site, I was not able to find a whole lot of information or even how to order.

Griffin claims this remote has over 300 presets though.

New Universal "Total" Remote Control

Got one. Works ok... nice to have it all in one remote. It has good range, but is not as good off-axis. I can point some of my remotes off to the side and they will still control the device. The Total remote seems more directional, but can work across a wide range.

While it came with a large number of remote templates, it did not have any of my EQ. But it did a good job of learning all the remotes.

I do wish that it included a tool for modifying the remote skins.
