It seems just yesterday I was moaning about the lack of a nativePrinting application built into PocketPC 2002 OS. In fact, it was yesterday!
Apparently, HP heard my pleas and immediately dispatched a team of 1000 programmers to provide a printing solution I didn´t know I wielded such power! HP Announced today their Mobile Enterprise Printing Solution that provides a server-based management program, allowing PocketPCs and other Mobile devices to print to network printers. Not quite the built-in printing I was hoping for, but it´s a start...
"HP Mobile Enterprise Printing (MEP) is a server-based software solution that enables users of mobile devices to print files, web pages, and email messages (including attachments) to printers on the corporate network. With MEP, MIS managers can enable their mobile professionals who use BlackBerries and Pocket PC PDA´s to print their important files on a nearby printer, with performance and print quality similar to printing from a desktop PC."
