library on storage card??

Hi,
I use this wonderful program every day. Now I wanted to copy the library to my sd card (iPAQ 3850).
I tried using the same directories but it doesn´t work. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

library on storage card??

Hi,

I don´t have the same model iPAQ as you, but I do this all the time. What you do is under your library files, choose "Use library on storage card" Once you are there, there is an option to move all the books to the storage card.

Good luck!

library on storage card??

Hello,
I thought I had to move the files myself to storage card, because anytime I chose "Use library on storage card", it said "No storage card found". Maybe it´s not a problem of SRP but a problem of PPC 2002 as I use the german version. I tried to change the directory "Speicherkarte" to "storage card" but this, of course, didn´t work. Probably there´s a way to change something in the registry to help SRP finding my card

As soon as I am able to put away my iPAQ (when I finished my second book in 3 days and I still say "More"...), I may contact customer support though this little issue obviously is an OS issue.
Or is there somebody else with a non-english PPC 2002 version having the same problem?
Can anyone else help me?

library on storage card??

Hi,

In version 4, there is an option to have SRP move your files to storage card.

File|Open Library & on the display that comes up, there is a grey rectangular button (though you might not think it´s a button), that says "Move all documents to storage card"

Tap it.

It´s just below the tick box for "Use library on Storage Card"

HTH,

Rich

library on storage card??

New Version 4.2

New Features

1.Timed bookmarks

Remedies a problem with some task managers that don´t allow bookmarks to be saved when exiting the app. Now bookmarks are saved every 10 second. If you exit the app using a task manger the bookmark should be within a few sentences of your last read position. If you exit using File > Exit from the menu the bookmark will be placed at the beginning of the last read sentence.

2. Selectable Storage Cards

For Pocket PCs with multiple storage card slots, you can now select the card to use for the Speed Reader Plus Library.

3. Improved Library Utility

Better documentation and document formatting.

*To date I believe this addresses all feature request with the exception of reading .lit files. (Still working with Microsoft on that one)

Enjoy!
