I have a problem copying large files to my Ipaq 3850. I was trying to copy a large AVI file (cca. 300MB) into a Kingston storage card hard drive (about 5GB), but the copying process keeps restarting and finally terminates the connection altogether after about 1/3 done. I am connecting thrugh a USB cable. Any suggestions?
( i also tried to copy another large file, a table document about 200MB large with the same results)
It is recommended that you use an external unit ("sandisk") comes to mind, that would connect the microdrive to your desktop computer. Once it´s connected, copy the files to the drive, then pull out the drive and put it in your ipaq.
Did your drive come with a companion cable that allows it to work as a harddrive on your Desktop computer?
Please let us know.

I do not have any add-ons for the hard drive, but i guess i can use a laptop for that, plug the HD into the expansion card slot.
What is the file size limit that USB is able to transfer without problems ?? Is there any way to improve the tranfer speeds, any settings, etc ?
Thanks for your help !
