Outlook 2002

I got the copy of Outlook 2002 with my iPaq, I just read the licensing agreement and found that I can install it only on one PC, I got a new PC at work and my old one was taken away and re-imaged before I got a chance to take it off properly.... should I have any problems installin Outlook 2002 on my new PC???

This is by no means a binding legal answer to your question, but here goes: If your IT department took your old machine, they would probably re-image it before giving it to another person, if not, why not? Slack? If so, then you would simply use the Outlook 2002 disk to upgrade your current outlook. That-is unless they have given your login account minimum rights over the machine. If that is the case, you will need them to do the upgrade.

Hope that helps.

ahhh...I think I am getting the picture here. Could this be one of MS´s new ´rights management´ schemes? If it´s anything like XP the install follows the hardware of the computer. But there is supposedly a way you can work through them to get it transferred to a new machine. I´ll look into it.

I´m not sure why that is sad...the last time I called them. It was $125 on the phone to repair Wins server push/pull replication problems. They couldn´t even help me - THAT was sad. I´m glad you are all fixed up though...
