my ipaq died!

what model number is this iPAQ? I´ve heard of this on some of the 3850s out there. And yes, I believe the only solution is to send it in.

Hope they get it right this time!

vincent,

Hey, I can at least answer the box question. The way it works is this. They send a shipping container to your house through an overnight delivery co. (Airborne express on the East Coast). If you meet the person at the door and tip em to wait they´ll let you box it up and take it right there, but odds are you will have to box it up and call later for a pickup.

The charging battery problem from what I read is a hardware problem that they actually have to open it up and fix. You may end up getting a new one when all is said and done.

Best of luck!

Wait, don´t send you IPAQ in for repair. I´ve been through this twice with tech support, they always want you to send the unit it. But you just have to talk to customer service. If your unit is less than one month old, they will always send you out a brand new replacement unit, and a box to ship the old one in. Trust me, I´m on my third IPAQ now.
