Greetings fellow pocket pc users. I have an HX4705 ppc running wm2003se and I've had a small issue with the WiFi since I bought this ppc. Here's the issue, when I first got the ppc and decided to try out the wifi feature I turned on the feature and set a static ip/gw/dns to it. This part works fine; I am able to access the computer on my network as well as browse the internet. The problem comes after putting the device on the cradle, for some reason the ppc assumes that because I'm running a program called Privoxy that the wm2003se automatically puts a checkmark in the box, "This network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet." Privoxy mainly just blocks advertisements by routing all the sites that are passed through IE to the port that Privoxy is running but as it's a program designed for Windows Desktop using the same settings on the ppc is ludicrous because privoxy isn't on the ppc.
The main question, is there an alternate way to setup the wifi without using "My Work Network" or is there a way to disable the "proxy" option all together?
