lol I know how ur feeling. Its really not that complicated. All u hav to do is take ur .wav format file (not mp3 don't work not sure y) and copy it to the windows file of ur 8125. For example open file explorer and find the tone u made or want for ur text tone. Click and hold the file then select copy. Then hit back and click on the windows folder. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click and hold on the small space under the last file so that the lil window will pop up and u can select paste. And ta da now all u do is go to start-settings- on the bottom click personal-sounds & notifications- click notifications- under events find new text message select it- and then look for your tone and select it. Hopefully u understand this and it helps u out.(P.S make sure that the file size is pretty small. U may have problems if it is too large. I put 3 custom tones that wer fairly large to use for my alarm clock and a couple days later it started buggin out and going off at weird times and not allowing me to shut it off! I had to do a hard reset to fix the problem so try it at ur own risk )

wav files

Hey there.... dunno if you got your ? answered so here you go. I used audacity which is a program you download and you can make custom ringtones and you can shorten them even more and turn em into .wav files and then transfer them to your device and use them for alerts ...etc. just do a search on yahoo (or wherever) for audacity .. youll find it

hope this helped you!!
