Dell has taken one on the chin for their inability to integrate Windows Mobile 2003 properly with their new Axims. A few weeks ago distribution of new Axims came to a halt while the problem was resolved. Yesterday Dell released a fix for a short period of time after it was learned the fix could easily be applied to Axims with PPC 2002, resulting in a free upgrade to WM2003.It seems as if Dell posted the file to their FTP site and Axim owners hunting for the Wednesday-promised solution found it and got downloading. Dell promptly pulled the file and said they will mail a CD with the fix to affected users in 2-3 weeks.
