Minister of Energy and Public UtiliTies Anthony Wood has promised that cellular phone companies will get their licence by tomorrow.“We are working feverishly to meet this deadline,” Wood told the Daily Nation.“If we fail to do so, we will not run further than a week after,” the minister added.In early March, Government announced it had selected Wireless Ventures Ltd. – the local arm of AT&T Wireless Service (ATTWS), Digicel Barbados Ltd. and Sunbeach Communications Ltd. to operate cell services here, and issued the providers with Letters of Intent.
