THE dot-com frenzy has returned — at least in one category.The introduction last Tuesday of BuyMusic.com, an online music download store meant for consumers who eschew music piracy, was promoted by its owner as the first of many new single-song download services expected from online media sites and retailers.The iTunes service from Apple Computer was there first, having demonstrated since April the demand for such services. But iTunes works with only Apple Macintosh computers, while BuyMusic.com is aimed at the far larger universe of PC's using the Microsoft Windows operating system.
