Even with investigators breathing down his neck for allegedly embezzling funds from a foundation to pay for collect calls from inmates, suspended Deputy Police Commissioner Fredrick Patrick continued the telephone liaisons, the Daily News has learned.Patrick spent at least 20 hours talking with inmates who called him from 18 prisons during the 10 weeks prior to June 15, phone records obtained by The News show.
