LG Electronics (LGE) started CDMA (code division multiple access)-type WLL (wireless local loop) mobile telecommunications services in Romania Sunday.LGE said that 29 STAREX-WLL systems and 13,000 LST-2300 WLL terminals were set up as part of the new services.The $14 million project, which has been financed through the EDCF (Economic Development Cooperation Fund) loans extended by the Korean government to Romania, involves the establishment of equipment and infrastructure as well as the training of personnel.
