On Tuesday, I was reading some news about how Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) was advocating the damage or destruction of illegal music traders' computers who exchange music over the Internet.
Since Pocket PCs have the power to play MP3's there may be a few of you (and you know who you are) who "trade" MP3s over the Internet. Do you think your Pocket PCs should be hosed?
With that uncomfortable situation presented, Wired News is running a story today claiming Orrin Hatch may be a software pirate himself! <img src ="http://www.pocketpcaddict.com/modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif">"The senator's site makes extensive use of a JavaScript menu system developed by Milonic Solutions, a software company based in the United Kingdom. The copyright-protected code has not been licensed for use on Hatch's website.
"It's an unlicensed copy," said Andy Woolley, who runs Milonic. "It's very unfortunate for him because of those comments he made."
Do you think the music industry should be allowed to destroy music traders' computers? Should Orrin Hatch's website be destroyed?
