Washingtonpost.com's technical news portion has a commentary tomorrow <--- did I just say tomorrow? Anyway, Rob Pegoraro is commenting on the latest Smartphone devices and how some of them may be doomed to fail. One of the main reasons he gives for this failure is the size of them.
"The 7135's biggest flaw is its brick-like dimensions. At a hefty 65/8 ounces and 11/8 inches thick, 23/8 inches wide and 37/8 inches long (antenna excluded), it's too bulky for a pants or jacket pocket. You'll have to tote it in an included holster, a practice the wireless industry inexplicably continues to regard as cool. "
What does he consider a good smartphone? The Handspring Treo. Any comments?
