According to this story on IDG.net, Windows CE .NET will be available Mid-2003! It is expected that this upgrade will add a lot more features such as Voice over IP, a firewall and wireless networking enhancements.
What is missing from the article is information regarding whether it will take advantage of the XScale architecture so consumers can get a speed boost.
