First came Palm OS "smartphones", then came the Nokia 7650, based on Symbian OS, and this week I was fortunate enough to attend the launch of the Orange SPV - the first device to run on Microsoft's Smartphone 2002 platform. With the introduction of the SPV, all three major handheld operating systems are represented in the smartphone space - a dangerous turf."
