I was browsing around the PocketPC Addict Webstore (Shameless plug!) earlier and found that a company called Polypix Inc. has produced a PocketPC app that retails for $200! Their NetiphonePDA allows you to make Voice over IP (VoIP) calls using the internet - thus cutting the cost of long distance phone calls.
As nice as the prospect of making reduced cost or even free calls over the internet is, the $200 price break seems to be a new high as far as PocketPC applications go. What do you think? I am not questioning whether the software is worth $200 as much as I am wondering if the PocketPC software market can sustain an app or apps at that price.
