For anyone in the uncomfortable position of having to choose between 802.11b and Bluetooth for your networking needs, here is some reassuring words for those of us who chose the Bluetooth path. Oliver Thylmann has written a commentary for infoSync that details why he believes that Bluetooth is a sure thing and will be a standard. After having read his article, I believe he is right!
P.S. This article came right on time for me, having ordered a new iPAQ 3975 with Bluetooth instead of going with 802.11b, I was secretly wondering if I had made the mistake of buying a "betamax" instead of VHS... What do you think?
"Oliver Thylmann is a big a fan of Bluetooth as anyone else, and has a rather unique take on why the technology will succeed. What's that, you ask? Because Apple supports it."
