The Battle of the Full Screen Keyboards!

Ever since Typango made a splash into the PocketPC world, there has been alot of hope that there will come along an software input method that is as effective as the portable keyboard addons by companies such as Targus. We recently Reviewed the Typango keyboard and were for the most part impressed by it.

Since then, we have found two offerings that are competing with Typango. One by Kilmist called Kilmist Keyboard XL which appears to be very similar to Typango. It is skinnable, has the big keys you have come to depend on, and the same copy and paste functions of Typango (we found this to be annoying). You can find out more about it and download a trial here: Handango P.S. they are offering a competitive upgrade of 10% off.

In what appears to be an identical offering to the other two is SPB's keyboard Spb's Full Screen Keyboard was released just yesterday. It's main interface looks a little bit more slick than the others, but it still seems to offer the same functionality. Both the offerings by SPB and Kilmist beg the question is this a war between nations or a war of the clones?

If you decide to purchase any of these keyboards, please come back and click through our links, it helps keep the lights on.

Note to Typango. "Imitation is the highest form of flattery."
