In a program that is geared toward exposing patrons to eBooks, Concord-Based New Hampshire State Library is making available eBook readers and software. One of these devices is an HP PocketPC.
Even though they are not letting the patrons take the devices home, the move will surely make some people want to get their own devices and ebooks.
“If you’ve ever dreamed of just downloading your next novel, keeping a reference book in your pocket or downloading your schoolbooks to lighten your backpack, the upcoming ‘Exploring eBooks’ program at the Brookline Public Library is for you,” says Pat Fickett, assistant director at the library.
