The software company sfr GmbH in Cologne is looking for beta testers for their product visual Key CE, a brand new access control software for pocket PCs. ....Applicants who have a pocket PC still have the opportunity to examine the mature software free of charge before the bringing on the market in April 2002.
The authentication tool visual Key, which has already proven itself in the PC environments Windows NT and Windows 98, is a useful alternative to the conventional text passwords and PIN-numbers.

Visual Key CE allows the input of a visual password by clicking several spots on any desired image. The order and the position of the chosen elements form the key which may be changed as often as the user wishes. The handling is very comfortable, esp. for devices that have no keyboard. Another advantage of this procedure is the fact that optical passwords can be remembered easily, even when they are changed frequently. The low level programming allows a simple and effective protection of sensitive data.

Visual Key CE runs on system software MS-Windows CE version 3.0 and Pocket PC 2002 and is suitable for devices with ARM and Mips processors.
