Hi all,
Here's the latest version of Achieve-IT! goal setting software for Pocket PC. People who haven't tried A.I. can use this to install the trial. All registered users of the 2.0 version can upgrade for free.
Number one, it fixes the issue in the define module some people where having with steps mysteriously disappearing.
It also improves a small registration snag that occurred on some devices
I also fixed some interface appearance issues that were causing some ghosts.
It implements a greatly improved listing structure that is in the Define module. I want to see how well it works on the wide scale before rolling it to the other modules as well.
Please uninstall Achieve-IT! before upgrading. (Just Achieve-IT! not the components).
You can get the full installer here
Hello Brad,
Just wanted to let you know, I downloaded and installed this new version on my x50V, which I just upgraded to WM2005.
I had error launching Achieve-It after installing it, dropped a line to your support e-mail, and within minutes, Kim replied with the fix (one of the sql components didn't get installed).
Thanks for the great support, and Kudos to Kim.

Brad,
Can I ask in regard to ghost items- I have opened this and I am looking at Define The Steps and see a duplicate item. All the other items have dots in front of them except for this duplicate which is at the end of the list. Would this be a left over ghost from previous version? I never noticed a ghost or duplicate before, but it doesn't mean it wasn't there before. What in terms of the list improvements should be noticable? What should I be looking out for? Thanks. Hezahonker

OOOOOOH!!!!!! I Found the new goodie in Define the Steps. I love it !!!! Please go forward with it!
Weird thing happened with install. It installed in a different folder and my shortcut was assigned to the old version so I actually had two Acheive it on the device and had opened the old one. I went into the about and realized that installation got screwed up. Did the installation change name of folders? I ask because I cannot remember how I installed last time. I could of sworn I used the installer, but I guess I didn't. Dono.

With regards to the "ghost items", I can't say I am absolutely sure I know what you mean by that. But what I saw on some devices is that deleting a step would delete steps across the board and corrupt the database. What I did was fix it so it would no longer drop tables from the database. As far as the dots are concerned, could you post a screenshot or send me one please? I'm not sure what that means.
What you should see is two versions of achieve it under remove programs when you go to start> settings and choose remove programs. You would remove the one furthest down the list. I had recommended that people uninstall the old version before installing this one because some of the people who were testing this version reported the same behavior.
Worst case, you have an orphan to shortcut which can be removed by following the procedures here:http://www.pocketpcaddict.com/module...ewtopic&t=2126
