BlackBerry 7100i launched by Nextel featuring GPS navigation and PTT "Sprint and Research In Motion (RIM) announced the launch of the BlackBerry 7100i™ from Nextel, which has all the functionality of a traditional BlackBerry® handheld in a slimmer, phone-like design. Operating on the Nextel National Network, the BlackBerry 7100i is ideal for mobile professionals who desire an integrated device with email, a wireless phone, personal organizer, Bluetooth® Technology, speakerphone, Web browsing and support for third-party Java Applications. The BlackBerry 7100i from Nextel also combines the power of BlackBerry with real-time GPS navigation and walkie-talkie services."
I can't say I've ever really had a desire to own a blackberry. I know, they are the cats pajamas and all. But I don't own a cat... I just think they make you TOO available. With that said, this new 7100t seems about the most appealing because it has both GPS and walkie talkie. Currently, I use Walkie talkie at home for use when the family is out shopping and we get separated, or at the park, etc. No office use by any means tho!!!
