Watson, I think there is a new/old Pocket PC movie available

Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon (1943)

Based on the Sir Authur Conan Doyle story "The Dancing Men", Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are placed in WWII europe to help protect a scientist and his invention from the Nazis.
This Sherlock Holmes movie looks like it might be pretty good if you are into classic mysteries. It gets almost 7 stars over at IMDB

Alright, you've peaked my interest. I've never given much thought to watching movies on my PPC although I know many people do. What do I need to download to watch movies ? Where are the movie downloads located ?
Another question, is that "peaked or peeked" ? I knew I should have kept the dictionary on my PPC.
EDIT: Never mind...I decided to do the obvious....SEARCH

It's "peeped" like a little baby chick does. You "peeped" my interest
No points off for misspellings on the net. 8-)

Woohoo! Free old movies!!

This link is way cool!! I'm downloading one of my favorite Cary Grant movies right now! Now I need to figure out what I need to do next to get it to play on my PocketPC - BetaPlayer should play MPEG4, so that's what I'll test out first!! Yay, now to go see what else I can download (I'm a huge old movie fan so this was a great find).
P.S - Yep, Buzzard was right, it is piqued, Dictionary.com says it means " To provoke; arouse: The portrait piqued her curiosity." :P

Repeeping sounds like an Easter verb gone awry! That is too funny - beware the rampaging Peeps!! Run!
I downloaded some movies but haven't had time to test them out yet - stay tuned!

It works!

Okay, I got a chance to test it! The first movie I downloaded, His Girl Friday, had two file options, one a 64bit MPEG4 file and a larger 256 MPEG4 file. Unfortunately, the movie I chose had sound/lip syncing issues in the beginning (which was noted in the comments people made but I wanted to try it anyway). So then I downloaded Charade, (with Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn, cool movie) - the 256 version, and sent it to my SD card with my card reader. BetaPlayer plays it perfectly! The picture is great (whereas when I tried the 64bit one it was all blurry and not very good), the sound is good, and no skipping or pixelating (at least on my Axim x50v anyway). Overall a very cool find! I just wish there was a bigger selection of classics - and that I had a bigger SD card! With a couple of favorite movies (Lord of the Rings, OfficeSpace and Shrek2), and now a few classics, 1GB is not enough! 8)

LOL!!! REPEEPED!!!!!! I'm usually quietly hoping that my posts don't sound crazy but now I am sure I am in good company!

According to Chozin: REPEEPED means to take another quick glance and hope that no one saw it. Used in a sentence: Although she was the office health guru...the donuts in the kitchen looked tempting...and she secretly hoped there was one left so I peeped....WAIT...was there one in there with a bite mark??!! I couldn't help it, I had to REPEEP!!
