"With the recent announcement that the Treo 700 would be based on Windows Mobile 5 rather than its previous Palm OS, there've been a lot of rumors that Palm might not be long for this world.
Well belay that. Palm just announced two new PDA entries, reviewed here by MSNBC's Gary Krakow. First is the color Z22, which sells for only $99. It's got all the basics, a heck of a price tag and Gary says it's about the size of a deck of playing cards.
But it's definitely a low-frills version--$99, remember? If you want the bells and whistles (And I do. Always.) then you should look at the sexier Palm TX (pic at right). This thing has it all, including not only Bluetooth and SD Card expansion but 802.11 WiFi as well, and even a bundled trial membership to T-Mobile's HotSpot service."
Not to intentionally fan the flames of the Palm vs. Pocket PC argument, no I'd never do that. But what do you think of the new palms?
