What's Your Favorite Launcher?

One item I like to have running on my Pocket PC today screen is a "Launcher" application. Launchers make the Pocket PC world a much easier place because you don't need to tappa-tappa-tappa to drill down to a folder in order to launch the application you want. My main issue is if I don't choose the right one, it can use too much memory or slow down my device. I guess that's why I haven't used one on my device for several months. I have instead opted for the taps via the start menu in order to get to my applications.
So what do addicts out there suggest for a quick, efficient and low memory launcher? There are quite a few premium launchers that might do the trick such as Pocket Plus, iLauncher, Resco Explorer's Today plugin, etc.
What are you using to launch applications and why?

My favorites are cLaunch and Pocket Plus. I like cLaunch better (although I no longer use it) because it is highly customisable and it's very easy to change the shortcut icons to anything you want (supports BMP, DLL, EXE files with icons).
On the other hand, Pocket Plus is also very cool and also highly customisable, although it is quite troublesome to change the shortcut icons with your own icons collection (uses their skinning method). Pocket Plus is also quite efficient. Furthermore, there are also many useful features other than the today plug-ins.
By the way, there is a thread in BrightHand which compares various different launcher plug-ins. Here's the link.

I currently use POcket Plus, but I am giving a try to iLauncher. It needs to improve the meters, and then, i will definitely throw P+ away.

I used to use claunch because it is powerful and free. I switched to ilauncher because claunch distorts the background on a vga screen and really bugged me. ilauncher was on sale at the time and the rest is history.

I use iLauncher and love it. The new version 2.201 with its meters, configurable top bar, and a meter on the task bar packs in the features without bloating like some larger apps.

I've used claunch from the start and so far every time I try another I always go back to it. I have to admit that my preferred config uses a bit too much screen space, so I mught have another go at iLauncher.

i totally agree with tanker_bob, Ilauncher is the best out of the bunch, way ahead of the others.
Version 2.21 has much better meters, and options.
The amount of icons that are now available is amazing if you check the lakeridgesoftware site you will find loads under the WBA2 skin's section of the forum.
The guys that develope the app are very helpful and the forum is one of the best for updates and sorting problems.

Right now, I am using both Pocket Plus and iLauncher.
Pocket Plus has the best meters out there, and I have a set that I really love, so I don't want to give them up. I also like the functions like making programs actually close. I have a meter tab, and system tab and a connections tab with this program.
iLauncher is also really cool, and I like being able to assign cool icons to my programs. So far, I'm not crazy about their meters, and so am not using them at all. I have a main tab with the programs I use all the time, an applications tab for commonly used aps, and a games tab, cause I have about 20 games and they need their own tab!
I tried the beta of WisBar Advance Desktop, and I think when this is ready for puclic release, it will smoke the competition and blow them all away, especially for VGA device users. However, I could not figure out how to make it do many of the things other more experienced people in their forums were doing, so I am waiting for the official release and accompanying instructions before using it full time. Hopefully by then the skinners will have some nifty skins to go along with it.
I miss cLaunch as well...before I had a VGA device I could not live without it, but not being able to get the icons to show nicely killed it for me. I kept hoping that since it was based on an open source program, someone would step in and bring it to VGA compatibility, but so far...no luck.

I used to use Pocket Plus, but the latest version feels problematic on the today screen. It seems that I am always accidentally dragging a column out of whack or something.
I'm giving the Resco Explorer Today screen launcher a trial run for a week or so. It looks nice and so far so good...there aren't any skins yet, and I miss the light dim feature of Pocket Plus, but I'll reserve judgement for the next few days.

Did you enable "Lock All Items" to prevent accidental dragging of icons?
