A company by the name of eBook Software has built a front end player for XM radio on your Pocket PC. As an XM subscriber, I can use their mobile service on my PPC, but it's not very attractive or all that intuitive. This looks like it might be easier to use and is a lot more attractive than the mobile XM site. KEY FEATURES
• First of a kind! Merging XM radio - America's #1 Satellite Radio with Pocket PC.
• Enjoy unlimited XM radio whenever and wherever ? in the home, in the car, and on the go.
• No need to purchase a XM radio receiver, your Pocket PC becomes your "receiver"!
• 100% commercial free music including 40s - 90s, country, popular hits, rocks, Latin and more.
• Create favorite list with a single tap.
Intuitive interface and easy to use.
Okay I'm curious how this works "Anywhere, anytime". I assume you have to have a wireless connection to your pc for this to work. So how does it work when not in connection with your PC? Is it simply that you can record some of it for later listening or?
yeah, that might be an exaggeration. I think it is a front end to IE/WMP that simply connects you to the proper station. IE does the same thing but it doesn't look as good.
