HTC Universals going CHEAP for PDC atendees. . .

If you get one, and you don't like it, I'll buy it for SURE. Of course they didn't announce this until PDC (Microsoft Professional Developers Conference) was already sold out. LOL! It's a good thing!

Re: HTC Universals going CHEAP for PDC atendees. . .

OUCH! Looks like this backfired on them in a bad way. "Them" being Microsoft. I think it may have worked exactly as iMate, the HTC manufacturer, wanted it to work.
Apparently they announced the $149 price tag for attendees AT THE KEYNOTE. This is a $1,000 device. So there was a stampede. Old people were trampled, and little babies who were in the way were punted. This is like the high tech version of the $50 iBook stampede in Virginia last month.
Nevertheless, they sold out BEFORE the keynote was over. Masterful plan if you are iMate, but it probably will be a bad thing for Microsoft and the PDC.
