According to WindowsforDevices, "MP2 Solutions has created a set of customizable point-of-sale and field service applications for business customers using Windows Mobile devices operating on Verizon's wireless network. The applications are said to enable users to wirelessly conduct business, check inventory, accept secure payments, deliver goods, print receipts, and report back to headquarters.
Using either the MP260 Mobile POS Terminal from MP2 or a specially configured version of the Samsung i700 Pocket PC Phone , users can communicate with field personnel via email or phone, as well as launch Web-based mobility applications such as field force and sales force automation software. All MP2-enabled devices run Windows Mobile software platforms and feature an attached mobile printer and three-track magnetic stripe reader. "
Yet another "mobile way" to take care of business.
