Pocket PC Addict wishes our cohorts in the U.S.A a safe and happy Fourth of July. Personally, I will probably be grilling some yet, untold piece of meat and we'll go out to see the fireworks later - if they are not rained out like they have been for the past 5 years.
What are your plans?
I have 1 propane and 2 charcoal grills set up for:
1. Spare Ribs
2. Hamburgers
3. Hotdogs
4. Shrimp
5. Corn on the cob
plus....potatoe salad, fresh vegtable salad and......for dessert....
HOME MADE VANILLA AND STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM W CHOICE OF TOPPINGS:
1. Fruit
2. Gummy Bears
3. Reeses Peanut butter cups
4. Snickers
I plan on eating....playing a little Bocci ball aand then eating again....then the fireworks!
I hope you have a great 4th!!
BTW......I'm sitting in the backyard listening to XM radio, drinkig a Fresca and surfing on my Toshiba....waiting to start grilling.

We just got back from camping, perfect weather we are having in Colorado, but no fireworks for the three year old so we needed to get back.
Brought my PPC with me this time (with a frowning wife) but when I showed her star charts, satellite tracking and a before bed game of Yhatzee she changed her mind.
We live on the hill leading up to the beginning of the mountains in Denver (most people would say we live on a mountain, but here it is a hill). Since Denver is comprised of so many cities and attractions we could see at least 15 or 20 displays. Some of them were pretty far away, but you could still see them easily. 70 degrees to boot.
Of course the new years fireworks typically aren't so fun to watch.
I had 300+ artillery shells plus cakes and fountains and misc small effects. I built a 12-shot, 11 bank (132 shot) electric firing panel and wired squibs to multi shell shots. Had the nicest class c display I've ever done and the weather was perfect.

WOW! That is sooooo cool! That is amazing! I had a bunch of little firecrackers...the kids thought it was great...but....after hearing your setup.....it makes ours look small time... (well, it actually makes it look like what it was...small amateurs shooting off firecrackers. )

We just got back from a week at the Colorado River (Lake Mohave) near Laughlin, NV.... wakeboarding, playing on the Seadoo, bbq and hanging out in the water... Had other friends there so we had 3 boats and 6 Seadoos.... Fireworks on 2 different nights. It was a good time.

We started buying the shells a couple of years ago. They are addicting. I went to a pro shooters class this year. The licensing is a bit steep so I built a panel to fire the consumer (1.4g) stuff. Its way fun but still expensive. We spent probably $400 total.
