Designtechnica has an article about how Comcast is providing customers a new Cable Modem/WiFi Router from Linksys that will not only provide them with cable modem transfer speeds, customers will also be able to use the WiFi features to connect wirelessly through their houses. "Linksys, a division of Cisco Systems, Inc., today announced the deployment of the Linksys Wireless-G Cable Gateways as part of the Comcast Home Networking Platform. This teaming helped deliver the industry’s first CableHome deployment, which includes a certified all-in-one networking hardware device –the Wireless-G Cable Gateway (WCG200) – which makes it easy for households to share a cable broadband connection wired or wirelessly throughout the home."

The weird thing in Philadelphia is that the whole city has Comcast except for my neighborhood....We are the only section of the city that has this Urban Cable Works (owned by Time Warner)....
