Question PDA Camera Laggy

Hey,

I'm sorta a little new to Pocket PC's. My problem is with my camera on my OČ XDA Stealth... the camera is laggy and slow, im just wandering if this is normal because when I aim it at my computers LCD Monitor, it speeds up DRAMATICALLY, and is really smooth all of a sudden, figured it might have something to do with syncing with the Monitors refresh rate or something. Anyway was just wandering if there was a way to make my camera run that smooth all the time... the Stealth has a Intel XScale PXA272 Processor 416 MHz.

Any help would be appreciated,
Cheers

tha camera mite jus be trying to adjust itself to tha surrounding lighting conditions. dim rooms will naturally take longer for tha cam to adjust

done that... no difference, ive even gone as far as reinstalling windows, to no avail...

what im thinkin is maybe i need a program that can somehow let the camera use more processing power or something? it just seems that the phone just isnt quick enough to process the camera properly, but i have mates with pocket pc's and theirs are fine and they have similar processors... :S
