Question Using the Storage Card

I am just early in the game, but have several years of PocketPC behind me and am puzzled. When I open the Mobile PC, whether thru ActiveSync or just thru MyComputer, the files LOOK like familiar ones but do not act like them. For example, .jpg files when double clicked do not display; rather, they show a properties view. This in spite of the fact that my PC, under whose operating system we are running, knows that .jpg files are to be opened using photoshop. Now on the Mobile, the .jpg files display as pictures, as they should. What they cannot seem to do ON THE MOBILE is to use the space on the storage card. As is usual, the manual is no help. It says that you can use the storage card. How???

im not 100% sure as to why you cant open files straight frm the fone but just drag n drop onto your desktop and open it frm there

you'd have to change your settings so that your photos save to your storage card when you take them i dont know what device you have but my 8125 goes as follows ~~> Camera/Settings (the little Screwdriver pic)/Tools/Options/General (Tab)/Find "Save To:" option and change it to storage card.

with e-mail attachments when your saving them just save them to the storage card.

hope i helpd. pce
