I'm an amature (with designs on becoming semi-pro) photographer, and I was wondering if someone could clarify this forum for me and how it relates to the PPC topic.
Is this just for people who have an interest in both, or is it meant to somehow relate directly to PPCs (i.e. storing and displaying images on the PPC or actually taking pictures with a camera built into a PPC)?
As members of the site it's to you, me and everyone else as to what the forum scope should be. If someone disagrees or thinks your going off topic you'll get a polite response.
I personally think that anything involving photography and PPCs would be legitimate talking points, ranging from snapping, editing, storing and sending a picture using only a PPC to taking the picture on a dedicated digital camera and viewing your work on a PPC at the end of a day.
Now if your just interested digital photography without the PPC, I'd ask a question and see how others react - if people say it's not appropriate, ask if they know of a forum better suited to your needs.
I've found this to be a polite and grown-up site and that people here are out to help, not have hissy fits over unintentional errors.
The current contest is/was ppc and photo combo oriented. However, the forum is photo oriented, usually (but not always) digital and not necessarily PPC linked. Camera, PPC camera, camera phone, etc...

Hi Girevik!
Thanks for asking these questions! This Photography forum is pretty all-inclusive for the average person who is interested in photography, whether it be capturing photos with your PPC or a film/digital camera.
benji and Drum4ever have pretty much summed it up. If there are questions, they will be answered to our best ability keeping in mind that this is not a photography specific site.
The hope here is that we will all learn and help eachother out!
Why yes, yes you can, however you'll want to transfer your images to the computer and then upload them there for best results. Check out the gallery here!
