Ipaq 2215

Is their a way to make the Ipaq 2215 support 5gig CF Cards? I have one and I stuck it in there and it dont even reconize it.

Size on a CF card should not be an issue. Are you sure it is formatted as FAT rather than NTFS or another file system?

Its a 5 gig microdrive!! if that helps any. I have to check to see if its formated in FAT or NTFS.

What do you know about this microdrive? Are you sure it has an ATA interface? At one time there were some Hitachi drives that were salvaged from other devices and mounted in CF cards but they have an IDE interface and so will not work with a WM device. What can you tell us about your microdrive?

The Drive is a Seagate ST1 Drive...


Model Number ST650211CF
