Which Software Stays In The iPaq 3800 after hard reset?

I want to do a hard reset as my iPaq 3870 doesn't sync properly with ActiveSync.

Is there a way to tell which software stays in the device after a hard reset?

The only programs that will remain are the ones that come with WM (i.e. Pocket Internet Explorer) and any programs your carrier may have elected to add. You will lose ALL data. Another way to look at it is that anything you have installed will be erased.

What is wrong with AS?

Thank you for your reply.

I did a hard reset and pretty much everything stays in the device including Word, Excel and Explorer. I also got ActiveSync to work properly - I just had to reconnect the device if it didn't connect at the first try.

Now, I'm trying to get the iPaq to connect to the internet via my Sony Ericsson cell phone... lol
