I have been using an iPAQ 3835 and connecting to my Windows XP laptop with ActiveSync. The laptop is dying and needs to be replaces. All of the new laptops have Windows Vista. Is there a way connect the iPAQ to a Windows Vista laptop.
I have the same problem. My ipaq is older and is not compatible with my laptop. There is supposed to be a way to run older programs in vista but I haven't really tried it. If you figure it out let me know.
just a thought, but you could run Virtual PC 2007(free from microsoft) and run XP in a window within vista...
it's pretty easy to setup... the downfall to this setup is that contacts and files will not easily be synced with vista... it's not impossible, just not simple... basically it would involve setting up a virtual network between the virtual XP and vista... then using something to sync between them...
