Angry Unusual "Alarm" Problem

I searched, so if this has already been covered be gentle

My Cingular 8525 running Windows Mobile has recently started acting weird. The alarms have always been a pain in the ass, but recently my alarm has been constantly going off, even after turning off the alarm.

This results in my alarm going off every thirty seconds or so. I have had to turn my phone off in order to function throughout the day, which I can't do for too long because I need my phone on.

When the alarm goes on it will vibrate (even after I turn off the vibrate) and sound. There is no visual anything on the screen. Just the sound and vibrate. After a while it will stop, and then happen again after the phone is turned off and then on.

Any ideas on how to stop this? I thought that maybe I could do a hard reset, but I would really rather not.
