new user sorry 4 being noob

Hi all, great forum
just got my MIO P560
and starting to read up on the ins and outs of pocket pc ownership

so can i start with a few simple questions


i have just got a MIO P560 Samsung 2443 - 400Mhz
am i SH3, MIPS, ARM or XScale ??

i want to put TOMTOM on it is the latest ver. the best to go with?
obviosly i want the latest maps..

got to start somewhere

i mainly want it for car sat naving and multimedia was the MIO P560 an ok choice?

will spent the next few days reading posts but sometimes its hard to find answers to the most basic questions

I wouldn't say you're a noob, since I can't even answer some of those questions myself.

I think Mio's a good multimedia. I have their GPS... man, I spent more time playing game than using the GPS on that thing.

You're ARM920T RISC (the CPU Core)

Lastly, the latest one is Navigator 6 from TomTom, but you might want to read it up if everything will work fine.

Last thing.. I wouldn't play music while using the Mio as a GPS though. The GPS won't be too accurate, because it has to work too hard... sad, but true.
