Anyone have this experience? I have an iPAQ 6945 and bought an extended hour battery. Some days on a 100% charge the battery is drained in 10 to 12 hours. On another 100% charge I may go 4 days without draining the battery. The only thing I can identify that seems to be a culprit is that at times I have very low or no signal strength (1 to 2 bars). It seems that if I have low signal strength or have my bluetooth activated and move a distance away from the unit for some time the battery drains heavly. Is there any cooralation between low signal strength and high power comsumption.
I am wondering if more power is being applied to the antenna circuits when signal strength is low.
Usual culprits for high power consumption will be bluetooth, GPRS, GPS or wifi connections that are powered on unintentionally by the device/programs...
Proper and consistent charging procedures would also help.
