i have a t-mobile MDA made by HTC and i was having problems with my storage card.
i previously used it in a verizon chocolate phone, and it has a lot of music on it that i cant retreve...and i cant figure out how to store things already on my phone to the card, instead of it staying on my main memory.
i read a few HELP tips on my phone since they were there. but what it says doesnt go with the options im getting.
can someone please take some time out to explain how to use a storage card lol
You haven't given much information in your post so I'm going to assume that your a complete beginner and give you a couple of questions to work through - hopefully these will help you solve your problem:
1) Did the storage card come with one of the phones or did you buy it seperatey?
If the card came with the chocolate you may find that your songs are already on it, which would explain why you can't copy them over.
2) Are you sure that both phones use the same card fomat? MDA's use a miniSD card (two gig max storage).
Several different formats use the same size cards, make sure you have the right one for both phones.
I've never used a chocolate so I can't really help with the menu side of things . You might want to try using the card in the MDA to check that its not been corrupted somehow - copying a word doc will be enough.
