SlingBox?

Anybody have any experience with SlingBox? It claims to send your digitabl cable to your pocket pc. Sounds like something I need. Anybody know if it works well?

Slingbox is getting more and more popular. I think it would be best to use it with a 3G enabled phone though, that way you can watch TV anywhere.

I agree, a 3G phone would be best. Also, if your Windows Mobile device has WiFi, it will work well. With EDGE/GPRS, the video becomes choppy.

I have one, but my phone has a bad wifi connection so I rarely use it on the MDA, but I use it on my laptop all the time. no monthly fee just a cheap one time purchase.

It will. You will need the Slingplayer Mobile application, ~$30, and an appropriate data plan, unlimited is best. Of course, you will need to be in an area serviced by 3G. Otherwise, data reverts to EDGE. Performance with EDGE is poor.

Just beware that with cingular's terms of service for their data plans, they say no 3rd party streaming video, but I havent heard of anybody grtting in trouble for it.
