I have a new Cingular 8125 and I want to find out how to put applications in the "Systems" folder on the Today screen. I really want the "Memory" application easily accessible so that I can close programs as soon as I'm done with them.
Or, if someone knows of a program that will actually close the Pocket PC applications when I press X, I'd really appreciate it. I know that SPB has one, but I want a free one~! I spent a significant amount of cash on this phone and I really don't want to spend any more money on programs that I could potentially get for free.
So anyways, if you could help me out, I'd really appreciate it~!!!
Also, give me your drink orders and I'll make sure that the booze keeps flowing~!!!
I'll take a double of Wild Turkey to start off the party~!!!
Putting on my SPB Salesman outfit.....Welcome to ppcaddicts. I also have an 8125. As for getting the memory onto the today screen flat out, i am not sure if you can or cannot do that. The one solution that i can offer is try out the program by SPB called SPB Pocket Plus. You can find it in the downloads section here, or u can go here, Spb Pocket Plus - Products - Spb Software House. I am currently running this program on my 8125 and i love it, the today screen plug-in is very neat and organized, u can access the memory folder from there, and stop all running programs. The one thing that i love about the program is that you dont have to do that. When the program is installed onto your device, the X button actually closes programs rather than minimizes it. so that alone got me.
So if you want check it out. If you have any questions about the program let me know. I also have a couple threads in the software section of the forums that regard to programs that i have tested and left reviews for.. Check them out if your looking for whats hot for your phone...Enjoy..
with regards to the MAGIC BUTTON..that is also another program that closes programs, it just seemed a little to complicated when i tested that program..i had it on my device and removed it..didnt really like it..too much to it..
