Storage cards and liberating XDA Exec internal memory

So I have my o2 XDA Exec, loaded all the cool stuff off our site, and my internal memory is running out. Just got a 4GB SD card and stuffed all my music and vids onto it, but I need more.

Anyway of getting Windows Mobile 5 to load programs onto the storage card?

If not, anyway of moving anything else not that useful onto the storage card, and getting enuf room to get the Pool program loaded!

I have been a desktop modder and tuner for years, have dual core systems, SLI based systems, but somehow trying to cram all this into a handheld is as complusive as trying to get another 1% out of a poor overheating CPU!

If you are installing apps with Activesync, when it asks if you want to install to main, select no. Then scroll down and choose storage card.

Thx, figured this out last night after going to post office and picking up me 4gb SD card. First thing I loaded asked for SD or main. So I unloaded all non essentials and relaoded onto SD. . Now have 15 MB clear on system, will help it from getting a sulk on now. Cheers, Jonz

Best bet, if you have all the software you need, is to back up everything, and reset (hard) the device. Select corporate mode (it's much less of a resource hogger) and reinstall any additional apps to the SD Card. You should be able to end up with about 25MB free
