Since I'm going to be travelling in the mountains where I've had BIG reception problems, I was thinking of installing an external antena...
no not one of those tin foil "stick on the back of the battery" freebies, but a real antena on top of the car.
I checked the MDA's manual, and see no info on how to connect an external antenna.
I found this product but I can't claim to know how successful it is. The theory is solid as opposed to those stupid foil things you mention. If you are willing to spend $50 US let me know if it works for you.
