Samsung's SCH-i730's newer cousin, the Samsung SCH-i830 (exactly the same as the i730 without WiFi) has been announced at CES.
"We’ve been getting leaks about the SCH-i830 for quite a while now, but Samsung and Verizon have finally let the dogs out at CES and announced its availability as January 10 for Verizon Wireless’ large account enterprise customers and January 24, 2006 for consumers. The latest of Samsung’s smartphones, the i830 has a full QWERTY keyboard, access to email and documents, quad-band frequency, VZEmail including Wireless Sync as well as Windows Mobile and Pocket PC applications. And don’t forget Bluetooth, an SD I/O expansion slot and stereo speakers to round it out. Retails for about $600 from Verizon Wireless."
