2 PPCs, I'm ask to create a new partnership each sync.Help!!

I have 2 PPCs, I'm being asked to create a new partnership every time I do a sync. I've already figured out that I can only sync with 2 computers for each PPC, but that isn't solving the problem. On top of that, every time I do create a new partnership in order to sync I need to combine items. It's creating a lot of multiple items on my PPCs. What do I do?

It seems likeyour devices might be BOTH be using the standard PPC name of "Pocket PC" which would make Activesync think that you have hard reset the device and restored, which would then require that you form a new partnership.
If this is the case, you should assign a distinctive name to each device, like Joe's PDA and DellAxim, so it is clear which device you are syncing.
To fix this problem, first when NO devices are attached, delete all the existing partnerships in Activesync. Then attach PDA 1. When asked to create a partnership, say yes, and name the device something destinctive. The device will then sync.
Then, connect PDA 2, and repeat the process, and give it a name totally different than the first one.
This should solve your sync problems, as each device will be recognized by it's new name.
