Who can forget all the excitement and hype about the Motorola MPx from March and April? All the speculation about the slick screen concept, the included keyboard, how it converted from a phone to a Pocket PC in just a flip! Now there are reports saying the MPx will only have 32 MB of RAM. This will be quite a limitation if there is a major OS upgrade that exceeds the 32MB of onboard. "It will be using the TI OMAP 200 mhz CPU, and will have 64 MB of flash ROM and 32 MB of RAM."
Any comments?
I read that even though it's only 32 MB of RAM it also has 64 MB of storage area which is fixed, unlike current devices. That would make it a 96 MB device. Why they would limit it by fixing it instead of letting it dynamically resize is beyond me unless it's due to the OMAP processor.

Yeah.....I can't figure that out....96 mb.....they must be thinking that it's a Phone first and a PPC second.....so memory is not of the upmost importance........Hopefully by version two.....memory won't be an issue. :?
